I know that this is kind of late, but how do you think Sunstreaker and Sideswipe would feel about Valentine's Day? ❤️💝

Like they see that Eva might be a bit upset about something and they want to cheer her up, and then they find out that an Earth holiday called Valentine's Day is near.

For some reason, I can just imagine a miscommunication about the traditions and the twins think that they need to give Eva an actual human heart. That would be both hilarious and horrifying. 😅

I love questions like these because it feels like those cheesy cartoon specials that kind of just set the main plot of the story aside just to have a holiday-centric episode. Like, the big evil bad guy is trying to take over the world - but there's only seven days still Critmas and all the trees are sold out! Shenanigans ensues, and we all move on and learn an important lesson we'll never speak of again.

I hc that the twins go about it on their own in different ways.

💛Sunstreaker:

- He would know of Valentine's day, only because of those 'earth' memories. He wouldn't jump on it unless you showed interest or expressed a bit of nostalgia. - And he would go over the top, if only to be the best damn date you've ever had. He wants to be number one, even if its for some silly earth custom. Forget everyone before him. - Paper hearts? Cheap candy? No, there's going to be writing in the sky and artisan treats. If he can show off, he will. And if he can't show off, he will. -The only issue is, he'll expect you to reciprocate. He worked hard to impress you, now you got to do it back. Wine and dine him just as hard. Better hope you can get a loan.

❤️Sideswipe:

- Now HE'S the one that would be like, "Wait, you give those fleshy blood-pumps to your romantic interests? Like... the hearts of your enemies? COOL!" - After explaining and possibly saving someone's life, he would kind of just smile and nod and be disappointed for a bit. But then he would make the custom his own and throw his own spin on things. - Instead of giving you anything heart shaped, he would give you things that were sparked shaped. He would find candies that looked like energon so it would look like you two were eating the same thing. - His dates would be more of what he knows you like, but he's not opposed to suggestions or trying new things. Sideswipe is easy, casual, and low maintenance... so long as you knew how that date was going to end.

top five ecosystems!!

Intertidal Zone: Ahhhh, everything that can live where the tides change so drastically are so cool. Thriving when they're deep under the water or exposed to the air! Leaving behind little tide pools! And when you get to explore one it is so stunning to be walking on the ocean floor.

Deep Ocean: I specifically am thinking about ares surrounding hydrothermal vents. These places of extreme temperature that are incredibly hard to study. That is is so amazing that things can live there at all. Things living in high pressure and/or at extreme temperature. The extreme darkness. I mean, it's like space in the deep ocean. Drifting in space you're far less likely to see something strange and unknown that you are in the deep ocean.

Tundra: Lichens!!!!!!! Little shrubs! The distances with which you can see the land itself. The beautiful exposed rocks. Animals with big thick coats! I also just like the cold and the colours.

Lotic: Ahhhh, I love how varied these can be, and I love that these will shift their location over time. The way a river carves through the land and slowly shifts its own location over time. It's got places of slow moving water and fast moving water allowing for different conditions of life.

Wetlands: Birds!!!!!!!!!!!! So many cool birds!!!!!!!!! Birds and bugs!!!!!! So many things live in them! Also, they're very important with regards to erosion and preventing damage during storms. They do so much to keep the things past them *safe*

A small dcaXy/n idea I had

Premis: Y/N works part time in the daycare but doesn't really interact with the dca which doesn't mean the dca didn't notice them there.

Start of the story

Y/N gets messages from an unknown number and decides to answer

They start messaging thinking that they don't know each other at all

They notice that the tone and wording in the messages switches completely throughout the day but get used to it way too fast

Y/N's life is a complete mess right now so Unknown is a pleasant distraction

They never tell each other their real names but use nicknames instead

Both share how they feel often and text about life and just anything that they think of

Someday y/n just calls their unknown friend to share some great news because they have no one else they want to share it with

They don't pick up but call back later

A male voice they have never heard answers. A pleasant one. They talk for hours.

But the voice tells them to only call at night bc he can't talk on the phone while working. But texting is fine

Y/N falls in love over late night phone calls and long text convos

They ask if they could meet up and hang out

He doesn't answer

The connection goes silent

The last thing he sent is "I'm so sorry. But I can't" written only a few minutes after their question (in the middle of the day)

Hours go by and they get no answer from him anymore

Hurt and worried Y/N is in a daze of crying and starring at nothing for the rest of the week

This is when Y/N misses their break bc they stayed in the daycare closet to cry

As they step out the daycare is dark sth that Y/N was never there to see

Then they hear it. The voice of the person they love singing from where the kids are sleeping.

Y/N stumbles through the dark until they reach the kids and lock eyes with the daycare attendant

Moon goes quiet and his eyes betray him and show his shock

Y/N is stunned

"It's you?"
